What a wonderful feeling to be at the beginning of love. A story that is engaging and timeless was made even more precious as I am experiencing the beginning of a destined love story that I never thought would happen for me. I could feel every moment from meeting to first communications as if they were the moments I myself lived just a few short months ago. As a female I believed such thoughts belonged only to the emotional sensitivities of a girl. To see in print a man who also experiences and believes in such things was indescribable.Leonard Belmont captured the anxiety, the crippling fear of rejection, the moment when you know you have to let go and let fate fall where it may. To play the game of love without playing the game is difficult, and Belmont creates the self doubt I think we all feel when we meet the one person who is meant to walk the rest of our journey with us. The thoughts of “oh God what if it ends, I couldn't bare for it to end,” can make a new lover freeze in panic. There is a sort of adrenaline rush that keeps us going at that moment, and Belmont painted the scene perfectly.
Anyone who hopes to fall in love, is falling in love, or has fallen in love should read this timeless story. They will feel as if they are the person writing these words, experiencing these thoughts, feeling these emotions. To live in the glow of love is the greatest feeling ever.
I can not wait for the next book in this serious. This one was masterfully written, and being drawn back in to find out how that first walk goes is an exciting prospect indeed. Fine job!

Five Years The Meeting edition by Leonard Belmont Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
It was hard to get through and very confusing. I did not really enjoy it. I would not recommended this book to anyone one.
The intensity of emotion and early assumptions of mutual thoughts left me wondering if this was going to be a love story or the narrative of a stalker. I'm still not sure. The writing style is rather poetic in nature and would be appealing to some. Although this writing style was not my cup of tea, I must admit that I would like to know where the story is going.
I'm simply amazed at how much I enjoyed this story. More poetry than prose, but this stream of consciousness, automatic-writing style made the words more meaningful, and let me feel as if I were one of the ones falling in love.
You just have to imagine it, a loop with no end.
The imagery, symbolism, passion, and pure love exploding from each page is mesmerizing and cathartic. A very impressive novel from a yet-to-be known indy-author. I am very much looking forward to further stories from Leonard Belmont.
I recommend this story for anyone interested in reliving their first time falling in love. You will not be disappointed.
I loved this book from the start. I started reading it and felt like I was reliving his story with him. I will have to say I was shocked and awed about the end of the book. I wanted to know more and read more. It had a cliffhanger effect.
Very unique style of writing. First person thoughts that could be anyone's about their first love. You are transported into the mind & emotions of the character. The setting is clearly defined and time frames as well are shown by the technology of the day. Draws you in so you want to know more and see what happens next. Can't wait to get the next book in the series.
Time stands still ...heart whispers "go" and there two become one! I had no idea about this book thank god for Bookbuds! I had a friend whose husband just unexpectedly past away! As I was reading this book I thought of her and her soulmate and I saw them through this book! It must have been just this for theme! This book so reminds me of Griffen and Sabine ! The first person narration is enthralling!
One of the things that I immediately enjoy about books grounded in reality is the concept that what you're reading could be either fiction or true to our world. In The Meeting, I was constantly considering the thought that what I was reading was either a smartly written, off-the-cuff story, or one of the greatest love letters ever written, to someone who means the world to you. In any case, the author manages to capture everything in this remembrance with pure poetry - not that saccharine, even tempo'd material you'd learn in grade school, but the kind of story that can only be told by the heart's dictation. This story is warm, it's endearing, and it'll remind you of the people who you've loved your whole life. Kudos to Belmont for capturing everything so succinctly.
